Rashmika Mandanna To Play The Female Lead In Thalapathy 66?
Thalapathy Vijay will be teaming up with filmmaker Vamshi Paidipally for an upcoming Telugu – Tamil bilingual. Speculations are now rife the actor Rashmika Mandanna will be playing the female lead in the project.
However, an official announcement is currently awaited about her casting.
The film is produced by Dil Raju through his production house Sei Venkateswara Creations. The producer had revealed earlier this year that the team was planning to commence filming in March.
He also added that the team is currently eyeing a Deepavali 2022 or pongee 2023 release depending on the progress of the film.
Meanwhile, Vijay is expected to team with Lokesh Kanagaraj and Atlee for his upcoming projects. His next project, Beast, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar is currently set to release in April this year. Rashmika on the other hand has Mission Manu starring Siddarth Malhorta, Amitabh Bachchan starrer Goodbye, and Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2: The Rule Coming up.
