Airaa Teaser Review : Nayanthara Is All Set To Shine In Dual Roles

Airaa, starring Nayanthara, is written/directed by Sarjun. His 2 short films, Lakshmi and Maa, were sensational hits online. His debut feature directorial, Echcharikkai, starring Varalaxmi and Sathyaraj, also earned positive reviews.

For the first time in her career, Nayanthara is playing dual roles. The teaser opens with a woman worrying that a girl child has born. This is a clue that it might be Nayanthara and she is on a mission to break myths and reform the village.

Speaking of dual roles, we see one version of Nayanthara playing a patient who escapes from a hospital and the other version playing a school girl. Nayanthara says “6 people are responsible”. From this, it is very much evident that Airaa will be a mystery thriller.

The role of Kalaiarasan can be a crucial one because nothing clearly about it is revealed. Yogi Babu is also a part of the cast, but he doesn’t appear in the teaser.

The film seems to be well made and Sarjun is a qualitative writer/director too. Given the stardom of Nayanthara, Airaa could very well turn out to be a winner.
