A slow-paced revenge drama with few twists and turns that hardly made any impact.

Movie Details

The movie begins with a series of murders in the Nilgiri Hills by a serial killer. Then the movie takes us to a young couple, Ashok (Ashok Selvan) and Leena (Iswarya Menon), riding on a bike in the hills. On their way through the woods, they come across a car abandoned in the middle of the road and they are attacked.

The film then cuts to five years after the horrific incident in which Ashok survived but he loses Leena. Ashok is helpless and he isn’t able to come out of the trauma and his only motto is to find the killers. The only clue he has is the voice of the killer saying “Gammunu Irundha Uyiroda Iruppa”.

How he finds the killer with the only clue that he has forms the rest of the story that is knitted with lots of twists and turns.

Performance

1. Ashok Selvan delivers an intense and impressive performance.
2. Janani and Iswarya Menon look good on screen and did their portion well.
3. Shyam Sundhar gave a neat performance.

Plus

1. Ashok Selvan adds weightage to the movie.
2. Chemistry between Ashok Selvan and Iswarya Menon looks fresh.
3. Janani’s portion with Ashok Selvan creates sparks in-between.
4. Music is fresh and pleasant to the ears.
5. Cinematography is good.

Minus

1. Weak writing.
2. Performance of the actors seems to have been compromised at few places
3. Antagonist’s portions are dull and give no life-threatening situation to the lead actor.
4. Lack of fizz and forcible placement of twists.
5. Dialogues are vague and don’t impress us.
6. Predictable scenes.

With a decent climax and a few twists here and there, the movie is one-time watchable.
